( 4 Semesters)


Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and or in the Master’s Degree in Science / Social Science /Humanities/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme. Candidates with at least 55% marks in aggregate in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology and specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme. *[as per Appendix- 4 of the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2014 - notified in the Gazette of India]




(4 Semesters)


(A) Candidate seeking admission to the M.Ed. programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in any one of the following programmes: (i) B.Ed. (ii) B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. (iii) B. El. Ed. (iv) D. El. Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each) Note: - Eligibility for admission to the M.Ed. shall be applied as per Govt/ UGC/ NCTE/ University norms from time to time. (B) Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other applicable categories will be as per Unisersity rules.





4 Years ( 8 Semester) Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP)






Candidates with minimum 50% marks in Senior Secondary or plus two examination or its equivalent from a recognized board are eligible for the admission. Reservation and relaxation for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class or Persons with Disabilities or Economically Weaker Section and any other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration, wherever applicable. of 5% to the SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.











Ph.D. in  Education

 Minimum 03 years of Residential period.

                                                 PROGRAMME - M. Ed.

The Learning Outcomes of this programme is to –

PSO1: Prepare field workers in education equipped with the knowledge of research process and would be conversant with the important techniques of educational researches.

PSO2:  Prepare professional who would be required to Staff College of education at primary, primary, and secondary levels.

PSO3: Developed specialized knowledge and understanding about the philosophical and sociological bases of education.

PSO4: Develop ability to understand human behaviour and personality, capability to apply this knowledge and understanding to guide the learners to learn efficiently and effectively.

PSO5: Develop National and International perspectives about Educational theories and practice to enable the learners to visualize the inter-linkages and dependency among different educational system.

PSO6: Train the future administrators and supervisors for the educational institutions, department of education and supervisory education services.

PSO7: Develop the working knowledge of ICTs and their application in formal and non- formal system of education and for teacher empowerment.

PSO8: Develop knowledge and understanding of management, planning and functioning of education as also develop managerial and administrative capabilities and skills to effectively manage educational institutions.

PSO9: Develop knowledge and understanding of the process of educational research and aptitude for and skill in conducting research in specialized areas of education and thus generate knowledge and critically evaluate knowledge.

PSO10: Develop awareness and understanding of  some specialised areas of education and human development like- educational psychology, curriculum development, teacher education, elementary and secondary education, measurement and evaluation, research in education, value education, environmental education, information and communication technology in education vocational education etc, so as to widen the horizon of understanding of modern educational practices and to develop critical thinking pertaining to issues related to education.

PSO11: Train persons for various psychological services such as psychological testing, educational and vocational guidance, statistical with an educational orientation.

                                          PROGRAMME-     B. Ed.


After the completion of B. Ed the Pupil teacher will be able to-

PSO1: Understand various educational issues in the context of diverse socio- cultural & Multilingual Indian Society.


PSO2: Understand the nature, purpose, influencing factors and problems of education in contemporary issues.


PSO3: Internalize the nature of education and pedagogic process through enriched experiences.


PSO4:  Contribute to reduce the gap between theory and practice by dovetailing both appropriately.


PSO5: Develop Curriculum/ syllabus according to need of students as well society.


PSO6: Use varied modes of learning engagement in accordance with the requirements.


PSO7: Plan and organize classroom through learners’ centered techniques of instruction in inclusive setup.


PSO8: Conduct Pedagogical content analysis in subject areas and use it for facilitating learning in the classroom.


PSO9: Effective use Information Communication Technology and resources for effective classroom teaching & learning.


PSO10: Develop and select tests, evaluate and keep records of student’s progress.


PSO11: Resolve classroom and school problems through action research.


PSO12: Foster skills and attitude for involving the Community as an educational partner and use Community resources in education.


PSO13: Become self-regulated learners, disciplined and skilled teacher as well as professionally
