The Department consists of the following regular faculty at Srinagar Campus:
1. Professor S. S. Deo, MA, Ph.D., Senior Professor of English, Master’s Degree from the University of Allahabad and Ph.D. for Kumaun University, U.P. Actively engaged in Research and teaching. He has supervised more than 38 scholars for the award of D. Phil Degree and 135 for M. Phil Degree. His area of Research is 20th Century British literature and South African Literature. He has published are than 25 research papers and attended the International and the National conferences. There are more than 12 books to his credit, including the text-Books prepared for the graduate students of Uttarakhand in the subject.

2. Dr. (Ms.) Surekha Dangwal, M.A. Ph.D., Professor of English. Has speciali-zation in the Twentieth century British Literature and Literature of the Diaspora. She has more than fifteen research papers to her credit, guided research to more than six scholars. She has participated in both National and International Conferences.
