B.Sc. with Zoology as one subject.
(three year regular course) – Annual Module
Fees (Admission + Examination): Approx. Rs. 2,500
Admission: All India merit based on Intermediate marks.
(two year regular course) – 20 Seats, semester system
Electives: Reproductive & Wildlife Biology/Fishery Science/Fisheries Biotechnology/Biodiversity and Conservation Biology/Environmental Biology/Clinical Biochemistry & Immuno-diagnostics/Computation Biology & Bioinformatics/Biomedical Technology
Eligibility: B.Sc. Biogroup with CBZ (min. 50% marks SC/ST 45%), Admission on merit basis.

Admission: All India merit based on Graduation marks.
(4 Semesters) commenced 2001
10 Seats through DBT All India JNU Entrance Test w.e.f. 2008

Integrated 5 Year Programme M.Sc. Biotechnology (Self Financed)
10 Seats (10 Semesters) commenced 2004
Eligibility: 10+2 Science (min 60% marks SC/ST 55%)
Selection Procedure: All India selection process based on: Written entrance test + Academic merit (HS, ISc or equiv. percentage aggregate marks) + Group Discussion + Interview.
Fees (Tution): Rs. 15,000/- per semester for first 3 years & Rs. 30,000/- per semester for last 2 years (Admission + Examination): Approx. Rs. 4,000
Zoology & Biotechnology
Elegibility: P.G. in respective discipline with at least 55% marks
Admission: All India Entrance Examination.
PG Diploma in Aquaculture (Yet to commence)
(one year including job training) – 15 Seats
Eligibility: Undergraduates with Zoology as one subject at B.Sc. level/B.F.Sc. (min. 50% marks SC/ST 45%), Admission on merit basis.
This Job Oriented Course is designed to produce trained manpower to meet the rising demand in ICAR, State Govt., Hydropower and Industrial Sector, in addition to entrepreneurship
One year course on Post- M.Sc. Diploma in Fish Ecology, Systematics and Molecular Taxonomy.
Eligibility: M.Sc. Zoology, M.F.Sc.
One year course on Post-M.Sc. Diploma in Aquatic Biodiversity.
Eligibility: M.Sc. in Life Sciences
